Father Andy is a native of Monticello, Iowa. He earned his Master of Divinity from The Saint Paul Seminary, School of Divinity at the University of St Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Dubuque, Iowa in 2000. He has served as an Army chaplain since 2003.
