Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship

Hillside Youth Center Gym at 6397 Garcia Blvd, JBLM Main 6397 Garcia Blvd, JBLM Main Post

All boys and girls ages 9 - 14 are invited to participate in the 2025 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship!  The local competition is Saturday, January 18th in the Hillside Youth Center Gym at 6397 Garcia Blvd, JBLM Main at 3:15 PM. Each participant will get three warm up shots followed by 15 free throws.  Boys and girls ages 9 – 11 will shoot from a 12-foot foul line using a smaller basketball.  Boys and girls ages 12 – 14 will shoot from the regulation 15-foot foul line.  Boys will shoot with a regulation basketball and girls will shoot with the smaller ball. All contestants will compete with kids their own age and everyone will receive a certificate of participation.  The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is held every year, with winners in each age group progressing through local, district and state competitions. If you would like to pray the rosary, please arrive 15 minutes early. We will pray the rosary prior to the start of the meeting.
