SUMMARY:Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship
DESCRIPTION:All boys and girls ages 9 – 14 are invited to participate in the 2025 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship!  The local competition is Saturday\, January 18th in the Hillside Youth Center Gym at 6397 Garcia Blvd\, JBLM Main at 3:15 PM. \nEach participant will get three warm up shots followed by 15 free throws.  Boys and girls ages 9 – 11 will shoot from a 12-foot foul line using a smaller basketball.  Boys and girls ages 12 – 14 will shoot from the regulation 15-foot foul line.  Boys will shoot with a regulation basketball and girls will shoot with the smaller ball. \nAll contestants will compete with kids their own age and everyone will receive a certificate of participation.  The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is held every year\, with winners in each age group progressing through local\, district and state competitions. \nFor entry forms or more information\, please contact Greg Kaufman at 253-970-3238\, or stop by the CYS Youth Sports Office on Garcia Blvd.
